Installation, troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies/sub-assemblies and systems. Troubleshoot electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction; perform required repairs to return unit/system to operational state. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to determine root cause and recommend corrective action. Set up and test systems, sub-systems and units to meet specified requirements. Recognize failures, isolate problems and take appropriate action to resolve them; operate oscilloscopes, generators, meters, power supplies, service monitors and test fixtures. Keep supervisor informed of unresolved or potential problems that would affect production timelines. Conduct detailed experimental testing as needed. Assemble electronics and mechanical components; install components, units and printed circuit boards following specifications. Make adjustments or repairs per written specifications; fabricate parts, cables and test fixtures as needed. Maintain and write work procedures and related documentation for each task performed. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent technical experience and/or military technical training required. Experience using standard electronic test equipment (DVM, oscilloscope, recorders, etc.) and hand tools. Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in digital and analog electronics. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and work instructions. Good verbal and written communication skills; able to exercise judgment within defined procedures.
