GovCIO . GovCIO is seeking a DB2 Database Administrator for our Courts proposal, located in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities
Perform data movement, troubleshoot issues, and write scripts for database tasks. Maintain complex databases regarding JCL, access methods, security, and documentation. Install, configure, migrate, restore, and monitor system security and performance. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support. Prepare and deliver presentations on DBMS concepts. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or equivalent. Strong knowledge of DB2 database management and configuration. Experience with performance tuning, backup, recovery, and high availability setups. Knowledge of Red Hat Linux system administration. Ability to research and resolve technical issues independently. Mentoring skills and availability for occasional support outside regular hours. Basic scripting skills. Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust. Company Overview
