Associate Recruiter, Accounting and Finance Client Solutions
Our client, a major Business Management firm, represents clients in the entertainment industry for accounting and tax services. The culture offers a laid-back atmosphere, and the team has a "work hard, have fun" motto. Hybrid after 90 day training period. Primary Responsibilities:
Accounts payable for multiple entities Manage payroll through Paychex Prepare deposits and manage accounts receivable Maintain general ledgers for multiple clients Calculate monthly commissions Prepare sales tax returns and business tax returns Prepare 1099s and manage W-2 preparation Prepare tax workpapers for the tax department Successful candidates will have the following:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting 2+ years of general ledger experience including accounts payable and journal entries is required 2+ years of preparing sales tax, payroll tax, and business tax returns and 1099s Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong Excel skills Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and prioritize workload Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with financial statements and income tax exposure is a plus. Music industry experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of insurance and merchandise accounting is also a plus. Seniority level
