The
Accounting Advisor
role involves ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. Prepare month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, external audit, and rebate calculations. Review internal controls and maintain documentation for Orgill Accounting. Ad Hoc projects as assigned. Responsibilities
Perform monthly close activities accurately and timely, such as prepare journal entries, roll forwards, analysis and reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Reconcile and review various balance sheet accounts. Assist in the preparation and management of the organization’s annual budget and work closely with department heads to monitor budget adherence and analyze discrepancies Assist with external audit requests. Perform variance analysis to identify financial trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement Delegate tasks and responsibilities within the team, ensuring efficient workflow and deadlines are met. Update and add internal documentation to Orgill procedures as necessary. Participate in special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access). Experience with accounting systems (preferred but not required). Possesses general understanding of accounting policies and procedures. Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Regular on-site, in-person attendance is required. Seniority level
