What You'll Be Doing
The Private Bank Credit Analyst I is responsible for supporting the origination underwriting, structuring, and ongoing management of credit facilities for ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and entrepreneurs. The Credit Analyst will assist in performing financial diligence on borrowers, technical analysis on collateral assets, and portfolio risk management analysis, as well as support loan lifecycle management.
What We're Looking For
Conduct due diligence and technical analysis on collateral assets including public, securities, private company interests, real estates, and alternative investments, among others. Analyze borrower financial statements to assess credit quality. Assist in the preparation of credit memoranda, term sheets, and loan documentation. Prepare periodic credit reviews for existing loans. Assist in processing renewals, amendments, and client service requests. Monitor covenant compliance and reporting requirements. Coordinate loan administration with Financial Advisors, Loan Operations, and other internal stakeholders. Maintain familiarity with internal systems and data tools. Support portfolio monitoring and reporting activities. Contribute to the development of internal tools for credit analysis and risk management. Maintain in-depth knowledge of quality and soundness and collateral through ongoing research and review of financial market data. What You'll Bring
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial market, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field: or equivalent experience. Minimum Required: No experience. Preferred 1+ years of related experience in credit or financial analysis. Preferred 1+ years of related internship experience. Systems & Technology
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 applications Familiarity with VBA, SQL, business intelligence tools, and Bloomberg, or other market data applications, is preferred.
