Responsibilities

Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals.

Respond to phone inquiries, internal leads, and property tours.

Lead property tours to showcase all amenities.

Set standards for how staff engage current and prospective residents.

Train staff and model effective sales techniques.

Lead rent collection and handle delinquent residents, including lease termination and legal action if needed.

Assist in managing the property’s budget to increase net operating income.

Maintain accurate resident ledgers and files.

Inspect units during move‑in and move‑out and conduct community walk‑throughs.

Act as Property Manager in their absence.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

1+ years leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience.

Yardi experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.

Computer skills: Microsoft Word & Excel, email, internet, and social media marketing.

Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new development preferred.

Organized, detail‑oriented with good time‑management skills.

Flexible schedule; understanding that workdays may vary.

Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative, inquisitive, self‑motivated, and trustworthy.

Physical ability to walk property, up to four flights of stairs, conduct inspections, and drive for outreach marketing.

Maintain a neat, professional appearance.

Compensation and Benefits Pay Range:

$43,500 – $57,200 + eligibility for competitive monthly commission for new leases and renewals.
