Staff Accountant . This position is onsite and will play a key role in supporting the accounting function within a logistics-focused environment. The role involves maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting operations tied to supply chain, shipping, and inventory.

Responsibilities
Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and allocations. Track and analyze costs tied to shipping, contracting transportation providers, warehousing, and inventory. Review transactions for accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP. Prepare variance analyses and financial statements to support monthly and year-end close processes. Collaborate with operations teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions. Assist in implementing systems and processes that strengthen financial accuracy and reporting efficiency. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or related industries. Strong background in general ledger management and month-end close. Proficiency with NetSuite or comparable ERP/accounting systems. Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to partner across departments.
