Job Description We are seeking local auditors to conduct audits in various manufacturing shops. This is a part-time role; the duration of each audit can range from a day to several weeks, depending on the work. The primary responsibility of the auditor is to verify vendor compliance with their QC Manual through procedures and practices. Responsibilities Identify and document all non-conformances and communicate them to the vendor for NCR and CAR issuance. Follow up on NCRs and corrective actions. Review customer complaints, NCRs, CARs, NDE certifications, and training records. Audit scope:

(varies per audit) Complete ETC Supplier Evaluation/Verification Report Ensure all form fields are answered; if not applicable, mark N/A. Conduct pre- and post-audit meetings. Review and verify vendor’s safety programs and practices. Assess implementation of the quality manual and shop procedures. Review employee adherence to SOPs and access to drawings and welding procedures. Evaluate shop receiving, shipment, and storage procedures. Review SOP revision processes, quality checks, and testing procedures. Assess engineering and QA/QC roles and responsibilities. Review non-conformance logs, internal audit reports, and vendor documentation. During production, review welding and manufacturing processes, including WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, and welding monitoring. Inspect welds during fabrication and perform final visual inspections, including RT film review. Review heat treatments, calibration of equipment, and shop safety conditions. Evaluate manufacturing processes, inspection, testing, NDE procedures, and coating facilities. Review NDE certifications, training records, and corrective action logs. Verify material traceability, final data books, and storage of consumables. Provide photographic documentation with descriptions. The auditor will sign an independent contractor agreement with SGS North America Inc. (or equivalent for Canada). Work is assigned as needed, paid based on hours/days spent, with invoices and timesheets required after each audit. Payment terms are typically 15-20 days post-invoice. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing within the Oil and Gas industry. Asset inspection experience with fixed and rotary equipment (pumps, valves, separators, compressors, vessels). IRCA certification or equivalent preferred. Experience with manufacturing shop QMS audits, NCR/CAR review, NDE certifications, and SOP assessments. Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and industry coating standards. Availability for up to 8 hours/day; assignments between May and September 2025, with potential for ongoing work. Hourly rate: $60-70 (negotiable), including travel time.
