Job Summary
The Junior Accountant supports all aspects of True Health’s internal accounting functions as needed. Primary Functions
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Update accounts receivable and issue invoices. Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned. Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings. Assist with other accounting projects. Other responsibilities as assigned. Education And Experience
Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred. One to three years of accounting experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office products in conduct of job. Knowledge of and/or ability to quickly learn MIP Financial Software. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment. Relationship Reporting
Reports to the Accounting Manager. Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Seniority level
