Night Auditor role at MCR Hotels – Springhill Suites by Marriott Boston Peabody, 43 Newbury Street, Peabody MA 01960. Duties and Expectations
Audit Management: All hotel audit-related reports must be completed and sent out by the designated time on the overnight checklist. Security: Overnight security measures should be followed to ensure a safe environment for all team members and guests, including locking exterior entrances at designated times and following procedures for late arriving guests and safety/security issues. Incoming Mail: Receive and note all incoming mail as required per the daily shift checklist. Guest Relations: Greet guests with a smile and maintain hospitality-focused interactions; use guests\' names when possible. Hotel Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of all features of the hotel facility and amenities. Events: Be aware of and support all groups and events at the hotel. Technology: Understand relevant technology for the role. Phone Etiquette: Answer all calls with friendly service using the approved greeting. Cleanliness: Ensure spotless cleanliness and sparkling workspaces; contribute to a clean and well-organized environment. Teamwork: Maintain a can-do attitude, communicate clearly, and collaborate to create a welcoming guest experience. Checklists and Handover: Complete checklists to 100% accuracy and provide timely shift handover reports. Success Metrics
Happy Guests: Management performance ratings and guest satisfaction/intent to return. Spotless Cleanliness: GM/AGM spot checks, leadership walk-throughs, and guest ratings. Product Consistency & Quality: Checklist tracking and guest ratings. Teamwork: Management performance ratings. Qualifications & Requirements
Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred. Can-do attitude with willingness to learn. Ability to follow guidelines and procedures. Ability to handle pace and pressure in high-stress situations. Effective listening and conflict resolution; clear communication. Hospitality and guest service orientation. Age requirement: 18 years or older. Schedule: Willing to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Clock-in/out discipline; no working off the clock; breaks documented. Note on attendance: Provide sufficient notice when calling out as directed by supervisor. Physical Working Demands & Working Environment
Regularly required to stand for long periods, operate computers and office equipment, perform data entry, lift up to 25 pounds, and move throughout the hotel and rooms.
