Overview
Responsible for financial activities, including reporting, budget preparation, analysis, projections, proformas, revenue and expense accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for the WakeMed Foundation and is also the financial liaison for the Foundation and its leaders. Supports the annual 990 filing. Provides input and support for associated software systems. Coordinates funding requests and awards from the Foundation with the Foundation team and clarifies external grants with the Grant Administration and Management group. Conducts vendor analysis comparisons and the annual review of policies. Tracks major campaigns and addresses questions related to pledges. Assists with fundraising projects, including the annual gala, and attends Foundation sponsored events as necessary. Department Description
