Kforce's client, a leading health care services system headquartered in Germantown, MD, is seeking a Tax Manager. This is a very stable organization with a culture and track record of growing their employees and broadening out their skillsets and careers. This position is open because the current Tax Manager is moving up a level within the CFO's org chart. The schedule is hybrid (3/2). Responsibilities
Manage federal and state tax returns Prepare and review Form 990 tax return filings Communicate with IRS and state tax authorities Support external tax consultants Prepare Financial Reporting (including non-tax reporting and focusing on all 3 financial statements) Present Financial Reporting to senior executive team Prepare Financial Statements and Footnotes Assist with Month End Close Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax Over 4 years of Tax experience Experience with Form 990 CPA a plus Big 4 or large public accounting experience a plus Experience in health care services a plus CCH Access a plus Compensation
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Note: The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
