Responsibilities
Manage and schedule meetings, showcases, and calendars.
Coordinate sessions for artist clients with producers and songwriters.
Handle travel, itineraries, expense reports, and studio bookings for A&Rs and artist clients.
Act as liaison between the label, artists, and management companies.
Work closely with marketing, publicity, sales, product management, finance, and legal departments.
Assist in coordination of song creation and record production; collaborate with songwriters, publishers, mixing and mastering engineers, studio managers, and artists throughout the process.
Maintain and develop direct relationships with artists.
Scout and research new artist, songwriter, and producer talent for Atlantic Records.
Review demo submissions and cover shows.
Compile weekly reports with the A&R research team.
Cover studio sessions for the A&R’s artist roster.
Attend all weekly A&R meetings and departmental song sessions.
Qualifications
Self‑motivated, great communicator, detail oriented, and organized.
Exceptional ear with hunger for new music discovery.
Vast knowledge of music across all genres.
Proactive, passionate, and driven to learn all aspects of A&R.
Preferred Experience
Previous music industry experience.
Experience using industry tools such as Nielsen Music Connect, Mediabase, etc.
Proficiency in Google Workspace.
Benefits & Compensation Salary: $19.23 to $20.51 per hour.
Office Location: Los Angeles, CA. Minimum four days per week in the office.
Work Hours: Full‑time.
