A great UHY client is seeking a
Controller
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, hands‑on accounting/controlling experience, and experience working at a small to mid‑sized company.
The
Controller
role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Create cash flow projections, manage payment decisions, and complete daily cash reconciliations
Manage borrowing base certificates (BBC) for ABL loan advances
Maintain and improve inventory controls
Provide real‑time financial and operational insights to the CEO
Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls
Serve as an advisor to other managers
Perform hands‑on month‑end close tasks
Prepare monthly reporting packages with financial statements and variance analysis
Assist with board meeting preparation
Act as Corporate Administrator for environmental, health, and safety compliance
Oversee daily accounting transactions, including billing, collections, payables, inventory, and production
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of small‑company operations and challenges
Ability to connect operational performance with financial results, cash flow, and working capital
Experience identifying variances and advising leadership
Proven experience closing books monthly and annually
Skilled in preparing internal financial statements with variance analysis
Experience supervising accounting staff and delegating transactional tasks
