We are seeking an
Accountant
to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing costing, financial reporting, and accounting processes that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry to mid-level accounting professional who is ready to deepen their expertise, work cross-functionally, and grow into future leadership roles in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Handle cost accounting across all brands and product lines.
Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports for leadership.
Lead month-end financial closing process.
Provide backup support for Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
Manage overhead tracking and ensure accurate cost allocations.
Ensure company accounting processes and procedures are consistent with U.S. GAAP and industry best practices.
Seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in accounting operations.
Streamline accounting practices and workflows for scalability.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing teams on budgeting, expense planning, and cost control initiatives.
Assist in annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
Support audits and other compliance requirements.
General Responsibilities of Accountant
Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist third party CPA with year end tax preparation.
Track and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Maintain organized financial documentation for easy retrieval.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies or issues.
Assist senior accountants and finance leadership as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Experience:
2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred (cost accounting or manufacturing experience a plus).
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
Experience with ERP systems and Excel proficiency required.
Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
Proactive mindset with a drive to identify and implement improvements.
