Irvine, CA (Hybrid | On-site Monday–Thursday, Remote Fridays)

Assignment Type:

Contract | 8+ months with potential to extend

Compensation:

Position Overview A leading organization in the technology and financial services sector is seeking a

hands‑on Revenue Operations Analyst Consultant

to enhance efficiency within its accounting operations and Accounts Receivable function. This role is ideal for a technically skilled accounting professional who thrives on improving workflows, leveraging automation tools, and driving meaningful process improvements.

The ideal consultant will bring strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to identify and implement automation solutions within an existing ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate current accounting and AR processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Leverage

Excel automation tools

such as

Macros, Power Query, and advanced formulas

to streamline workflows and reporting accuracy.

Support daily accounting operations, including

journal entries, reconciliations, cash applications, and variance analysis .

Collaborate cross‑functionally with accounting, finance, and IT to enhance data integration and reporting consistency.

Recommend and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.

Assist with ad‑hoc projects, data clean‑up, and system improvement initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3+ years of progressive accounting or process improvement experience , preferably in a mid‑to large‑sized organization.

Solid understanding of

accounting principles

including debits, credits, and AR processes.

Advanced

Excel proficiency , including experience with

Macros, Power Query, and automation features .

ERP experience required (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).

Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
