Accounts Payable Specialist
to support their finance team and help streamline accounting processes as we scale.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. You will work cross-functionally with production, design, and operations teams to ensure a smooth payables process that supports our growth and maintains strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Review, process, and code vendor invoices for inventory, production, and general expenses Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips; investigate discrepancies Ensure timely payments to vendors and maintain up-to-date AP aging Assist in month-end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciling vendor accounts Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve inquiries professionally Support the Finance team with ad-hoc reporting and audits
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or consumer goods Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger coding Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets

Accounts Payable Specialist
