$24-$28/hour Spirit Mountain is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Clerk to support and strengthen our Finance Department. This position plays a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting functions including ERP administration, expense management, accounts payable, and vendor invoicing/processing. The Senior Accounting Clerk will ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, maintain vendor and departmental relationships, and contribute to overall financial accountability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain the ERP system for accounts payable, invoicing, and expense management. Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and ensure timely, accurate payments. Prepare and issue checks and electronic payments according to established payment cycles. Reconcile vendor statements, resolve billing discrepancies, and manage vendor communications. Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable, invoicing, and expense transactions. Assist in preparing, coding, and posting journal entries related to AP and expense activity. Support month-end close, including reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis. Collaborate with departments on purchase orders, payment approvals, and budget tracking. Provide reporting and documentation for audits, financial reviews, and compliance requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Serve as a resource to staff and leadership on ERP functionality and financial procedures. Maintain regular and punctual attendance and uphold Spirit Mountain’s Core Values. Benefits

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or payroll; public-sector or nonprofit experience a plus. Prior experience with ERP or accounting software systems required; ability to troubleshoot and train others preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal control practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across departments and with vendors. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
