Accountant.
This role is a key member of the finance team providing accounting support, reporting and analysis. This position works closely with members of the finance team domestically and internationally and will also partner with IT, Facilities, Sales and Sales Operations on various projects and processes. The Senior Consolidations Accountant reports to the Accounting Supervisor.**Responsibilities*** Manage the monthly consolidation cycle and publishing of financial reports* Coordination and reconciliation of intercompany billing between legal entities* Prepare and post journal entries* Review and analysis of subsidiary financial statements* Foreign currency analysis* Preparation of cash flow statement and supporting schedules* Track and reconcile capital contributions between legal entities* Assist in the due diligence and accounting for customer claims* Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts* Continuous business process improvement* Write accounting memos as needed to support complex business transactions* Update and maintain SOX procedures, ensure appropriate support for internal control and audit testing* Work closely with external auditors for substantive and control testing* Various ad-hoc project support**Qualifications*** 5+ years of experience in Accounting* Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred).* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel* Ability to problem solve and research on special projects as requestedMPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.
