Vaco has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Jacksonville, Florida. This position sits fully onsite and is direct hire.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures, identifying causes for unexpected variances.

Prepare, validate, and distribute quarterly and monthly financial reports.

Create reports and dashboards using an EPM tool (Planful and Power BI preferred).

Prepare financial models and analyses to support management team with strategic initiatives and financial forecasting/budgeting processes.

Analyze the financial data of new and existing commercial borrowers, prepare credit requests, and review existing commercial dealer loans.

Provide projection modeling, loan covenant & condition compliance, profitability analysis and risk rating analysis for current and prospective clients.

Provide strong and clear communication to co-workers and third parties.

Adhere to all applicable internal policies and procedures and protect the confidentiality of borrower information.

Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.

Assists with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business or Finance is required.

1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields is preferred.

Skills

Experience delivering reports and information through a variety of formats and channels.

Ability to develop robust and nimble dynamic models.

Ability to get up to speed quickly on new concepts and opportunities.

Understanding of financial and business software applications (Microsoft D365 and Planful preferred).

Basic knowledge and understanding of terms, conditions and structuring of commercial lending relationships is a plus.

Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), taxation, legal forms of organization, and business law.

Familiarity with financial modeling techniques and preparation of pro forma financial statements.

General knowledge of financial analysis and reporting including cash flow, balance sheet, and profitability analysis is required.

Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment and manage multiple priorities.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to share complex, financial topics clearly, concisely, effectively and professionally.

Must have a desire to help the company grow, thrive and succeed.

Must have a desire to learn about the company and the Vehicle Service Contract industry.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
