Summary:

The Corporate Accountant is responsible for full cycle accounting processes, ensuring accuracy in records of financial transactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts. Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfers data to the general ledger. Reconciles and balances accounts. Compiles reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of the business. Calculates employee wages from records or timecards and prepares checks for payment of wages. Computes, types, and mails monthly statements to customers. Completes records to or through trial balance. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a related degree. 1–2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of accounting processes in a corporate setting. Basic math skills and ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Intermediate knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Excellent organizational and time management skills. Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude. Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office). Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is required. Nice to have: Start-up experience. Verbal communication skills in Mandarin. Additional Requirements: Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. Travel to other sites within Arizona may be required to perform certain work functions. Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials. The role involves extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting while working at a computer. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary. The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). While exposure to hazardous conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the jobsite work areas and be exposed to typical construction site hazards such as dust, moving machinery, weather, caustic chemicals, and noise.
