Business Solutions Manager - Team Lead at Ledgent Finance & Accounting - a Roth Staffing Company Salary up to $110K or dependent on experience Overview
Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer & Controller, this position is responsible for managing a wide range of financial reporting and analysis activities in alignment with established policies, procedures, and strategic objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the banking industry At least 3 years of experience with financial reporting and a strong knowledge of GAAP in a banking environment Background in financial analysis, interest rate risk management, and investment securities Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze balance sheet and net interest income forecasts; evaluate related interest rate risks to support profitability objectives Manage asset/liability modeling and collaborate with external vendors to produce analyses; participate in ALCo (Asset-Liability Committee) meetings Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly management and regulatory reports for review by senior leadership Assist in the preparation and development of operating and capital budgets; provide monthly variance analysis and identify areas for improvement Prepare quarterly liquidity stress testing; coordinate with lending staff on credit stress testing analysis Conduct comparative financial performance analysis against peers; provide management with detailed reports on pricing, yield, loans, deposits, investments, and borrowings Oversee profitability and financial analysis of existing and proposed products, services, and departments; evaluate new and existing brokers providing investment services Calculate monthly provisions for credit losses and prepare CECL (Allowance for Credit Losses on Loans) reports; work closely with lending teams to ensure accuracy and completeness Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls, systems, and procedures Stay current on accounting, regulatory, tax, audit, and industry developments; assess impacts and contribute to strategic decisions Support reporting and analysis for potential acquisitions and strategic initiatives Maintain knowledge of BSA/AML, Customer Identification Program, and OFAC requirements; ensure compliance and report any issues or suspicious activity Additional Responsibilities
Undertake special projects and assignments as requested by senior leadership Serve on committees as needed Participate in community and civic activities to promote organizational growth and maintain a positive public image Equal Employment Opportunity
