Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Overview: An independently owned New York-based real estate investment management firm is seeking a highly motivated Portfolio Management Analyst to support its growing multifamily investment portfolios. The firm was established in 1969 and currently has $9.3 billion of institutional quality real estate assets under management. The Analyst will be working on a range of multifamily investment strategies and will be engaged in all aspects of the real estate investment process, including analyzing and executing new investment opportunities; formulating new investment strategies and marketing materials; ongoing financial modeling and liquidity management; and investor reporting. This role will be apart of the acquisitions and transactions team. Responsibilities What You’ll Do: • Develop customized investor and prospective investor memorandums and presentations • Monitor property-level performance through variance analysis and market research • Maintain and analyze fund-level financial models in order to manage liquidity needs • Execute quarterly and annual reporting • Generate investment summaries, strategic plans and other documentation associated with fund operations • Support portfolio management in annual budget and asset planning process • Assist with preparation for advisory committee meetings, board meetings and annual meetings with clients and consultants Qualifications More About You: You are highly motivated and a team player with a natural ability to build relationships across the organization to deliver superior results. Your innate desire to “roll up your sleeves” is essential. You have a desire to learn and grow within the team to take on more responsibilities. In addition, you must have: 2-3 years of real estate investment/development, investment banking, or finance experience Fundamental knowledge and understanding of multifamily transactions and management Experience underwriting ground-up multifamily development opportunities with waterfall structures as well as core/core-plus and value-add investment opportunities Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build detailed financial models from scratch Strong analytical and writing skills Effective business writing and communication skills Experience in Acquisitions and Transactions • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Seniority level
