QinetiQ US is seeking a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to work in NCE, supporting NGA missions and GEOINT. The role involves providing regular knowledge capture and knowledge sharing of tradecraft best practices to recognized GEOINT platforms or forums as appropriate. Responsibilities
Develop and apply methods to add rigor and precision to intelligence analysis and collection. Support NGA analysis through statistical, econometric, and mathematical assessments; geospatial modeling; or operations research. Communicate findings via a broad range of written intelligence products and briefings. Identify and evaluate a wide range of existing methods, models, and algorithms to develop more accurate, complete, objective, and anticipatory analysis for intelligence production. Support the development and application of analytic methodologies to facilitate the full range of analytic tasks from organizing and exploiting data to modeling probabilistic judgments. Qualifications
Required TS/SCI clearance. 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree (combination of years of experience and professional certifications/trainings can be used in lieu of a degree). Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) introducing documented analytic methodologies as they apply to GEOINT analysis. Experience implementing and executing methodologies to achieve specific outputs. Knowledge of intelligence operations and GEOINT phenomenology. Apply multidisciplinary mathematical and statistical models via programming language to large datasets to extract patterns, relationships and anticipatory behavioral likelihoods. Enable customer satisfaction and answer intelligence questions by using knowledge of advanced analytic methodologies and experience in implementing and executing methodologies. Provide support to exploitation, intelligence analysis, and product development to include statistical and trend analysis, data manipulation and format conversion, data collection/querying from various systems, data formatting for visualization and presentation, and database design and data entry form development. Apply scientifically based approaches to solve complex problems, including statistical data analysis, knowledge discovery, and mathematical modeling. Provide data consultation, graphical data visualizations, and recommendations for quantitative data selection and collection. Preferred Qualifications
An understanding of NGA, GEOINT and the IC and associated frameworks and policies. Knowledge of Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) and application of ABI methodologies. Familiarity with functional mission areas and key intelligence issues. Experience performing data exploitation techniques including spatial analysis, network analysis, and other data analytics as appropriate. Previous experience utilizing GEOINT analytical databases and reporting tools. Ability to work independently with self-accountability and to foster positive customer relationships.
