The Leasing Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting in the sales and marketing strategy for the leasing department to ensure maximum occupancy of the community. A successful Leasing Specialist will provide high-quality customer service to residents, prospects, and stakeholders, and understand this role is critical to the reputation of the property. The Property
The Quarters Columbia is an amenity-rich housing community consisting of 260 units and 616 beds, recently renovated and designed with University of Missouri students in mind. Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard schedule: Tuesday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 4:00pm. Nights or weekends may be required from time to time depending on business needs. Benefits & Perks

Demonstrate excellent customer service during each encounter with residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members. Assist with the execution and development of marketing efforts on campus and in the community, customer appreciation events, and other special events. Answer incoming phone calls, drop-ins, and email inquiries professionally and handle them accordingly. Act as a lead salesperson when the Leasing Manager is offsite by conducting all tours, responding to leasing inquiries, and following up with prospective residents. Be an expert on current market conditions, trends, and local competitors. Monitor community, clubhouse, amenities, and other common areas for superior curb appeal, cleanliness, and organization. Assist the Leasing Manager with posting updates and communication through social media. Requirements
Associate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, and/or one or more years of progressive experience in student housing. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment. Understanding of property management standards, including Fair Housing laws and general real estate principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Entrata software is preferred.
