Underwriting Analyst, Commercial
at Starr Starr Insurance Companies is a leading insurance and investment organization, providing commercial property and casualty insurance, including travel and accident coverage, to businesses worldwide. Duties and Responsibilities: The Underwriting Analyst will support the Commercial Casualty team in New York & Boston, rate General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto and XS Liability lines of coverage. Correspond with broker contacts to collect submission information needed by underwriting. Work with underwriters to create, review, and release quotes and binders. Create underwriting files and follow up on outstanding subjectivities for bound accounts. Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 3-5 years of relatable experience Experience with rating General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Automobile and XS Liability Knowledge of NCCI and ISO policy forms and endorsements Professional demeanor in language and writing skills Ability to work independently and to support a team environment Experience with Microsoft Office Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment About Starr
