Position Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company. You will oversee various accounting functions, including month-end closing, full set accounting, and have meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ability to work under pressure, possess a passion for process improvement, and demonstrate a positive attitude towards their work.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to Singapore HQ.
Perform month-end closing activities which include maintaining of general ledger, posting of journals, bank reconciliation, preparing schedules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets schedule.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, as needed.
Identify inefficiencies in existing accounting processes and implement technology automation solutions to streamline them.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
Handle ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in handling full set accounting.
Prior experience in the payments industry, settlements, or reconciliation processes is a plus.
