Location: UC Medical Center Department: Contract Pharmacy Hours: Full-time, 40 Hours/Weekly Shift: First Shift / Hybrid UC Health is hiring a 340B Analyst for The Contract Pharmacy Department at the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Center. The 340B Analyst will support department functions to maximize 340B optimization and compliance. This will include reviewing of claims, maintaining program statistics, working with external vendors and pharmacies, and using technology to assist in this process. Education:

High School Diploma or GED License and Certification:

340B Apexus Certified (ACE) preferred. Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred Years of Experience:

No experience required. Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience Required Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision; work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly to emergent requests; exercise sound professional judgment; communicate effectively (orally and in writing); and meet the pharmaceutical care needs of the patient populations served by UC Health. Responsibilities

Audit 340B compliance using software systems provided: Reviews claims and purchase invoices for 340B eligibility and compliance. Maintain competence of 340B program and associated software systems Complete daily documentation as requested by Manager/Coordinator Ensures That Department Meets Or Exceeds All Regulatory Standards: Design processes to ensure compliance with UC Health policy and procedures Works to ensure the pharmacy department is in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations as set forth by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), who administers the 340B program, and all other federal, state and local entities to which we are accountable. Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department: Participates in the recruitment and retention of staff in collaboration with department management team members. Establishes productive, collaborative relationships with team members Participates in department quality improvement initiatives where appropriate Orients, trains, and provides functional support to new staff. Communicates with other staff to ensure appropriate purchasing practices. Assists Leadership With Financial Management Of 340B Program: Coordinates ordering of medications for contract pharmacies when needed Utilizes technology provided to purchase on the correct account for proper inventory compliance Performs audits of claims at the request of the manager/coordinator Maintains statistics tracking program performance. Performs Other Duties As Assigned: Performs any other related work as required for 340B Services department to run efficiently Performs other duties as requested by Manager/Coordinator
