Job Summary Georgia Southwestern State University seeks a Lecturer in Accounting to teach a variety of accounting courses in its AACSB-accredited College of Business and Computing beginning January 2026. In addition to teaching, the candidate will advise accounting majors and actively participate in college and university operations, including committees and faculty meetings. The successful candidate will be mentored by a senior faculty member with the goal of becoming AACSB Scholarly Practitioner (SP)-qualified within five years. Responsibilities Responsibilities Include: Teaching both traditional and online courses. Pursuing cross-functional, integrative curriculum development. Incorporating high levels of student engagement in pedagogy. Mentoring and advising students to support GSW¿s mission of student-centered education. Required Qualifications
Master¿s degree in accounting from an AACSB-accredited university. Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification, with strong preference for candidates with industry experience. Teaching experience, preferably in both online and face-to-face formats.
