Pinellas County Government . Salary range: $71,115.00–$92,435.20 per year, based on experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00, with occasional evening and weekend meetings. Remote work for a day or partial day is possible if it aligns with required outside meetings. Overview

The CRA Coordinator leads the revitalization of the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area by attracting new investment, supporting existing businesses, and expanding commercial development. The coordinator is the primary point of contact for residents, business owners, and local partners, turning their input into actionable, community-focused projects. Responsibilities

Assess community and business needs to inform strategic redevelopment plans. Develop and implement economic development programs for business attraction, retention, and expansion. Implement innovative CRA programs and projects that drive economic growth and residential renewal. Manage all phases of CRA-funded projects, from data gathering to implementation and evaluation. Oversee administration of CRA grant programs and perform vendor contract management and performance monitoring. Prepare and manage budgets, including Tax Increment Financing (TIF), and ensure timely, accurate annual reporting. Actively engage with residents, businesses, neighborhood associations, and other stakeholders to build and maintain strong, productive relationships. Serve as a community resource, addressing concerns and aligning redevelopment initiatives with local priorities. Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of CRA processes and collaborate with county departments to implement best practices. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, public administration, urban planning, or a related field. Experience in community redevelopment, economic development, building/permitting, or urban planning, including one year of supervisory experience. Eight (8) years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of experience, or a Master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Florida Driver’s License or Florida Commercial Driver’s License with endorsement, if applicable. Ability to work a variety of schedules, including compulsory periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Comprehensive knowledge of economic development principals, including business retention strategies and real estate development. Proven ability to administer a program, including budget management, expenditure tracking, purchasing activities, and required reporting. Knowledge of community development and land use principals, local government operations, and budget/finance systems. Proven ability to manage complex projects, research and analyze data, and produce clear, informative reports. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and engage effectively with diverse groups. Strong analytical and administrative skills for contract and grant management. Skill in identifying and resolving complex problems in a public sector environment. Benefits
