Overview
Inventory Control Coordinator - Northlake, IL The Inventory Coordinator is accountable for recording and tracking inventories of materials, supplies, and finished product. Main point of contact for finished goods purchasing and order tracking. Coordinates relationships with plants to facilitate elimination of stockouts and overstocks. Communicate to Demand Planning any service issues related to stock availability, and coordinate resolution, involving central planning.
Responsibilities
Conduct a physical inventory of Finished Goods using an RF handheld scanning device and a physical inventory of Raw Materials and Concentrates, entering inventories into spreadsheets and SAP.
Perform an Age Inventory of product in warehouse to ensure proper production rotation.
Ensure proper administration of all cycle count procedures and processes; research outstanding issues related to inventory reconciliation; reconcile discrepancies and handle follow-up questions from customers.
Issue out production/warehouse inventory breakage and any employee product usage; post full goods inventory without discrepancies.
Handle period-ending inventory accounting duties to resolve issues related to Plant Operations.
Prepare, maintain and distribute reports related to inventory.
Run production labels.
Ensure SOX compliance following the SOX checklists related to inventory.
May support warehouse operations, including shift-based oversight for forklift operators.
Attend daily and/or weekly inventory-related calls or meetings.
Shift & Schedule Full-time Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 5:00am – 1:30pm. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.
Requirements
2 years of experience in supply planning or inventory control
2 years of experience using RF technology
2 years of experience with SAP or a similar Warehouse Management System
2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed
Total Rewards Pay Range: $16.97 - $24.00 per hour.
