About the Position The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s accounts receivable (AR) operations, ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, cash application, and customer account management. This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow, minimizing credit risk, and fostering strong relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and experience in a high-volume, product-based business environment. About You Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). 5+ years of accounts receivable or credit management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or sports apparel industry preferred. Strong understanding of AR processes, credit policies, and collection practices. Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Experience in a Private Equity backed environment Experience working in a multi-country environment (MX preferred). Spanish language skills highly desirable Attention to detail Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoicing, collections, and payment application. Develop and maintain AR policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Monitor customer accounts for timely payment and proactively address delinquencies. Review and approve credit limits and terms in coordination with Finance leadership. Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure smooth order-to-cash processes. Prepare and analyze AR aging reports, cash forecasts, and collection metrics for executive review. Lead AR team members by providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and applicable regulatory requirements. Implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance AR efficiency and reporting accuracy. Support annual audits and other financial reporting requirements as needed Pay & Benefits Score Sports offers competitive pay and benefits. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401K. Base salary range is $90,000 to $140,000 depending on experience.
