Essential Functions: Manage Fiduciary Relationships and GrowsPortfolios Establishand maintain contact relationships with clients and their family membersto maximize the lifetime value of these relationships. Providea full range of financial and banking services to best serve clients’needs with assistance from appropriate specialists throughout theorganization. Buildloyalty and drive profitable revenue growth by resolving client concerns,developing and executing targeted client retention and expansionactivities, cultivating new clients, and delivering all aspects of theBroadway Client Experience. Demonstratestrong solution-oriented sales and communication skills to effectivelyestablish rapport and credibility with clients.Developcollaborative relationships with clients’ advisors, including CPAs andattorneys. Exhibitleadership and team-building skills with a broad knowledge of financialservices and products, focusing on client-centric solutions. Ensuresound fiduciary account management, including fiduciary taxation,securities transfer, community property, and state and federal lawsgoverning trusts, foundations, estates, and investments. Grows Portfolios within agency andFiduciary Relationships Successfullyexecuting strategies to identify and target new profitable opportunities. Workingwith internal partners to ensure a coordinated and consistent marketingmessage reaches targeted prospects. Cultivatingrelationships with referral sources such as attorneys and CPAs. Maintainingsales pipelines using CRM to document qualification/progress ofopportunities. Educationof internal partners on Wealth capabilities to drive referrals. Participatesin business development activities individually and with partners.
Apply Knowledge ofLaw and Fiduciary Planning Strategies Reviewand interpret governing documents to determine the required actions andoversight needed to balance the interests of beneficiaries andremaindermen, protect account assets, and minimize risk to the bank. Managerisk to protect the bank from liability in carrying out fiduciary duties. Applyknowledge of fiduciary and estate planning strategies to benefit clientsand prospects, communicating effectively and tactfully with clients,prospects, and their advisors.
Perform SoundFiduciary Account Management Duties Reviewtax returns and supporting documents. Reviewtransactions, including distributions to beneficiaries, security purchasesand sales, tax payments, real estate, oil & gas, and expenses,ensuring appropriateness under the terms of the operative document andcompliance with OTC requirements. Engagewith outside financial institutions to record or distribute account assetsand obtain or provide accurate cost basis in a timely manner. Controland maintain related files, promptly initiating new accounts, receipts,disbursements, discretionary distributions, closed accounts, and otherfunctions as required. Supervise Associateon Relationship Management Issues Overseeall aspects of account administration with special attention tofollow-through, documentation, and organization of files under soundfiduciary management principles. Teach,coach, and mentor associates to achieve maximum career potential based onindividual ability and desire for career growth. Setan example for teamwork, initiative, empowerment, communication, andservice excellence as detailed within the Major Accountabilities andCompetencies section of the Performance Evaluation Process. Seekout new opportunities to leverage the bank’s full capabilities to newclients in all areas. Cultivaterelationships with estate planning professionals to promote referrals toBroadway and Wealth Management services. Servethe community through Care Corps events and other leadership opportunitiessuch as serving on the board of directors for non-profit organizations ororganizations related to appropriate business disciplines. Speakpublicly within the area of specialty, participate in media interviews,write articles for publication, or conduct educational seminars within thecommunity. This position may require travel within the Bank’s geographic area.
E xperience & Education: 7 years fiduciary experience in thefield of personal trust or 5 years legal, financial planning, or relatedexperience. 4-year college degree; law degree preferred. Professional designation of CertifiedFinancial Planner, Chartered Financial Analyst, or Certified TrustFinancial Advisor is a plus. Skills & Qualifications: Demonstrated understanding ofaccounting principles. Ability to positively interact withhigh-level clients and all levels of bank employees. Strong understanding of fiduciary principles and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in managing complex fiduciary relationships and applying fiduciary planning strategies. Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills. Superior client relationship management and communication skills. Leadership and team-building abilities. Broad knowledge of financial services and products. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Experience with FiTek System is preferred. Other Requirements: Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weightsor otherwise move objects weighing as much as10 lbs.on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
