About the Role
The Scrum Room Architect is a hands‑on technical leader responsible for defining, designing, and maintaining the architecture of software systems developed within an Agile Scrum environment. This role ensures that solutions are
scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business goals . The Scrum Room Architect bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, partnering closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to drive high‑quality delivery across multiple Scrum teams. Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural design and technical decision‑making within a Scrum environment, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long‑term scalability. Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Developers to translate business requirements into robust, technical solutions. Design and maintain system architectures leveraging
Java ,
React ,
microservices , and
cloud‑native
technologies. Define and enforce best practices for code quality, system performance, and security. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams, fostering growth and consistency across the Scrum Room. Contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinement by providing architectural insights and feasibility assessments. Partner with DevOps teams to optimize
CI/CD pipelines , deployment strategies, and infrastructure automation. Promote architectural alignment across multiple teams to ensure interoperability and maintainability of the overall system ecosystem. Required Qualifications
6+ years
of experience in software development and system architecture. Strong full‑stack expertise with
Java (Spring Boot)
and
React . Proven experience designing and implementing
microservices architectures
and
API‑driven systems . Proficiency with
cloud platforms
such as
AWS
or
Azure . Familiarity with
event‑driven architecture , messaging systems, and asynchronous communication patterns. Deep understanding of
Agile
and
Scrum
methodologies, with the ability to integrate architectural practices into iterative delivery cycles. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide technical teams in best practices and architectural principles. Preferred Skills
Experience with
DevOps practices , including
CI/CD pipelines ,
containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) , and infrastructure as code. Knowledge of
API Gateway ,
OAuth2 , and
security best practices . Familiarity with
data streaming technologies
(Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience in
performance tuning ,
system monitoring , and
