About the client SGP Recruiting provides both operations and strategic support to Tribal 8(a) and commercial organizations. Our client is a CVE-verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and a proud ISO 9001:2015 certified organization specializing in systems integration and enterprise management solutions. As a trusted GSA MAS contract holder, they deliver mission-critical telecommunications, network infrastructure, and IT services to Federal, State, and Local Government agencies, the U.S. Military, and private-sector clients.
They are seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior Network Administrator in Doral, FL. Possible other locations for this position: Key West, Newport (FL), and Naval Station Guantánamo Bay (NSGB).
Salary Range: $85 - 90K Annually.

Security Clearance Required - Secret
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Configures, monitors, and troubleshoots network devices to maintain seamless connectivity and address emerging issues.
Implements and maintains essential network security measures, performs routine backups and disaster recovery procedures, and resolves network bottlenecks.
Installs and configures network hardware and software. Maintains comprehensive network documentation and provides timely technical support to end users.
Stays current with emerging network technologies and trends; actively pursues professional development opportunities. The Network Administrator receives guidance and direction from more senior staff.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BS in field necessary to assume Network Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree; 4+ years of experience with 2+ years of relevant Network Administrator experience.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their networking components.
Knowledge of network security best practices, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewall management.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating network tasks.
Desired qualifications
Experience with military/diplomatic operations within a J-6/G-6/S-6 Directorate or with SOF or the DoS, including cybersecurity risk assessments across multiple commands, agencies, and regionally distributed locations in a SOC.
ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, Microsoft Azure Administrator–Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Associate certifications.
Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM).
