Overview
Dispensary Technician position at AYR Wellness Inc. Provides patients with an extraordinary experience through meaningful interaction and knowledgeable answers. The Dispensary Technician fosters a compassionate, genuine, and respectful environment and contributes to a climate that embraces inclusion and generosity of spirit. AYR Wellness aims to be the foremost provider of sustainably grown premium cannabis products. Responsibilities
Provides knowledge, guidance, and a personalized experience to patients by explaining potential benefits of the premium cannabis products offered. Ensures patient questions or concerns are resolved quickly and completely; communicates requests or unresolved concerns to management. Oversees patient intake process, ensures appropriate patient records and paperwork are submitted, and maintains confidentiality of information. Receives, coordinates, and fulfills patient orders using the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory systems in compliance with AYR Wellness, and local/state policies. Maintains a clean, stocked, and orderly dispensary; supports a patient-first environment and participates in ongoing learning. Follows compliance practices and prevents the diversion of medical cannabis to unauthorized individuals. Assists in processing and monitoring floor stock and participates in daily inventory counts. Fosters a positive work environment, treats everyone with dignity and respect, and maintains curiosity about cannabis. Performs opening and closing procedures. Acts as the critical link between AYR Wellness and patients by providing an amazing, stress-free, and helpful patient experience. Maintains store appearance and ensures restrooms and all areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready. Qualifications
Must possess basic math, computer, and cash handling skills. Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner. Must be 21 years of age or older. Able to pass all background checks. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and team members. Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory control systems. Prior experience working in a high-volume environment. Education
High school diploma/GED required Experience
1-3 years’ experience working in retail or other customer service position; cannabis experience is a plus.
