Responsibilities

Managing distributed queue managers, advanced channel configurations, and multi-instance queue managers.

Setting up and managing HA environments, queue manager clusters, and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.

Implementing SSL/TLS encryption, OAM security policies, and integrating LDAP for authentication.

Optimizing queue manager and channel configurations for high throughput and low latency.

Developing scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automated monitoring and maintenance.

Diagnosing complex messaging failures, dead-letter queues, and performance bottlenecks using tools like dmpmqmsg, strmqtrc, dspmqtrc.

Understanding how applications interact with IBM MQ, including JMS and REST API.

Using IBM MQ monitoring tools (IBM MQ Explorer, Prometheus, Splunk, or Nagios) to track queue performance and generate alerts.
