Business Intelligence Analyst (Developer) Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst proficient in Tableau to join our dynamic analytics team. The ideal candidate will leverage their data visualization skills to transform complex data sets into actionable insights, supporting key business decisions and strategies. Experience in a business environment and proficiency with Excel, Qlik, and other essential tools are highly valued. Qualifications
5 – 7 years of experience developing, designing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and data sets. Utilize Tableau Prep for data preparation and transformation tasks. Manage and administer Tableau Server to ensure optimal performance and security. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Extract, cleanse, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide insights and recommendations. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms. Use Excel and other standard business tools for data analysis and reporting tasks. Stay current with Tableau features and best practices to optimize reporting efficiency. Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to pass a government security background check. Responsibilities
Proven experience in data analysis and visualization using Tableau. Hands-on experience with Tableau Server administration and Tableau Prep. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience working in a business environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Authorization to work in the country is required, as we are not sponsoring visas at this time. Preferred Skills
Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik). Experience with programming languages such as Python or R. Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques. Location
