IA Access Management Analyst – TekSynap
Join our DLA NIPR/SIPR Access Management and Trusted Agent support team. TekSynap is a fast‑growing high‑tech company dedicated to delivering comprehensive information management solutions for our federal customers.
Responsibilities
Perform Identity and Access Management (IAM) services to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non‑repudiation of sensitive and classified information and systems.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert (SME) in Access and Identity Management, providing guidance on related Information Assurance (IA) policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of access control policies in accordance with DoD identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) directives.
Ensure compliance with DoD Instruction 8520.03, Identity Authentication for Information Systems, validating proper access authorization to systems, data, and network resources.
Manage user identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, de‑provisioning, and access auditing.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, system administration, and policy teams to maintain secure access management operations.
Provide recommendations for improving IAM controls, technologies, and compliance posture across systems and environments.
Qualifications
Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience, including work with identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) or related cybersecurity functions.
Certifications
Must have a DoD 8570.01 IAM Level I baseline certification. Preferred certifications include:
Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
Certified Network Defender (CND)
Cloud+
GSLC
Security+ CE
Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner
Computing Environment (CE) certification is not required.
Clearance & Eligibility
Secret clearance with a favorable IT‑I (Tier 5/SSBI) Critical‑Sensitive clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Locations & Schedule
Fort Belvoir, VA; Battle Creek, MI; Columbus, OH; New Cumberland, PA; Dayton, OH – any of these locations.
Office environment; day shift Monday‑Friday. You may be requested to work evenings and weekends.
Travel Work Environment & Physical Demands Regular use of hands, arms, and feet; occasional lifting up to 50 lb. Noise level medium. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
