To help support our future growth as an agency, we are looking for a Manager, VIP & Influence to join our team based in our New York office.
Influencer / VIP Relations
Build and maintain relationships with new and established influencers, VIPs, and key stylists across fashion, lifestyle, beauty, and culture
Proactively engage talent and agencies for both organic and paid opportunities, including events, partnerships, and seeding
Strategically cast talent aligned with brand DNA, KPIs, and budget for client initiatives
Contribute to talent strategy development for new business pitches and seasonal initiatives across retainer clients.
Negotiate and execute influencer and celebrity paid partnerships, drafting and finalizing contracts in collaboration with legal teams
Manage paid deliverables, ensuring talent deadlines are met and quality standards upheld
Manage campaign budgets, collaborating with finance to ensure third-party collaborators are paid on time
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and cultural moments, sharing proactive recommendations with clients and internal teams
Client Communications
Serve as the dedicated client lead on select accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships across accounts
Provide accurate budget estimates for paid partnerships, including ambassadorships, event attendance, social media campaigns, and performances
Draft and share client-ready scopes of work outlining deliverables, services, time commitment, usage rights, and exclusivity terms
Lead day-to-day client communications, providing proactive updates on VIP opportunities, influencer outreach, and seeding progress
Compile and present detailed social coverage and campaign recap reports, highlighting effectiveness, key learnings, and optimizations for future campaigns
Events
Manage guest list curation of VIPs, influencers, and KOLs for client events and shows based on client brief
Facilitate event dressing requests and support with fittings and pulls
Extend invites, manage RSVPs, and coordinate via e-mail and Fashion GPS
Oversee glam, transportation, and overall logistics for both paid and organic talent attending events
Partner with photographers to ensure key VIPs and KOLs are captured at events
Review and approve external face sheets prior to events
On-site support at events, projects, and shows, managing check-in and ensuring smooth execution
Sample Trafficking
Oversee sample trafficking with the junior team, ensuring smooth coordination of returns, send-outs, and showroom management
Arrange and oversee showroom appointments and fittings when necessary
Respond to stylist requests in a timely and strategic manner
Research and pitch new VIP placement opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and contacts
Seeding
Build strategic seeding lists based on client priorities and key cultural moments
Lead outreach to talent and agents for product seeding, collecting addresses and sizing
Oversee packaging and preparation of gifting send-outs, ensuring client guidelines and seeding incentives are met
Track and report on seeding effectiveness and talent engagement
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience, preferably handling multiple luxury labels.
Strong relationships with press and industry peers.
Outstanding interpersonal communication and writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in culture, arts, fashion, and lifestyle and industry trends, and can confidently suggest how these elements can enhance clients' offerings.
High levels of attention to detail and the ability to present and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Generates novel and useful ideas and solutions to everyday problems and challenges.
Sets goals, monitors, and reviews plans, and prioritizes tasks effectively.
Accomplishes tasks accurately and thoroughly with strong follow-up skills.
Positive attitude to challenging situations and a willingness to go above and beyond to complete a project accurately and on time.
Must be efficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Fashion GPS preferred.
Confidence to train and direct the work of junior team members.
