We are a growing food company located in Turlock, California, seeking a qualified QA Manager. This is a direct hire position offering a comprehensive benefits package. Major Responsibilities:
Establish, implement, and oversee quality and food safety initiatives to ensure products meet safety and quality standards from raw materials to finished goods. Lead and support plant operations in achieving food safety and quality goals. Manage QC technicians and laboratory testing facilities, including microbiological analyses. Maintain and update the quality manual; prepare for and host GFSI audits, customer audits, and third-party inspections. Prepare reports and documentation on quality metrics; produce certificates of analysis, traceability, and recall documentation. Develop and manage HACCP and Food Safety Plans. Verify daily quality and production reports. Oversee CAPA programs, GMP/Glass audits, and internal audits. Determine and monitor KPIs regularly. Participate in projects related to continuous improvement and new product development. Handle customer complaints, investigations, and follow-ups promptly. Education and Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in Food Safety as a Quality Assurance Senior or Manager. Bachelor’s degree required.
