Position: Mitigation Technician - Restoration
The Mitigation Technician role involves responding to emergency and property damage situations in the restoration industry. Our team ensures safety, efficiency, and property preservation while attending to both the property and the customer.
Compensation:
$19.00-$24.00 per hour (+ overtime and on-call bonuses) Responsibilities: Work safely in damaged residential and commercial properties Survey and evaluate damage Perform demolition using hand and power tools Conduct initial site visits and moisture inspections Set and operate restoration equipment Document work in RMS and take progress photos Participate in IICRC certification classes (available) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency with technology (smartphones, computers) Customer service skills Ability to operate RMS, Xactimate, MICA, and other systems Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team Participation in on-call schedules Ability to work safely in hazardous environments and operate a vehicle safely Maintain confidentiality Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Customer service experience At least 1 year in a manual labor or trade position Physical Requirements: Frequent movement on job sites, including stairs and roofs Occasional use of ladders Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Effective communication with customers About Paul Davis: Since 1966, Paul Davis has been serving communities during times of disaster, emphasizing customer care and community service.
