Imagine being a Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) Engineer on our Manufacturing team that develops, implements and maintains the methods, operation sequences and processes used in General Dynamics Mission Systems production. Candidate could be working Mechanical Engineering tasks across any of our Pittsfield programs, including surface ships, submarines, or physical security. Come join the Progeny Systems team where you can work on advanced weapon launcher and weapon simulator software for the U.S. Navy. Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Science or Software Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electrical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology. Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with a Polygraph is required at time of hire.
