Job Title

Data Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph REQUIRED) Overview

Role: Data Engineer SR/Principal focusing on Human Language Technologies (HLT), with emphasis on refining text and audio translation capabilities and training custom models for top language types in the organization\'s triage tool. Also focuses on enabling capacity to train low-resource languages as priorities emerge. Works closely with Data Scientists, providing support and ensuring seamless coverage. Key Responsibilities

Identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies within the data through visualization and statistical techniques Create new features or transform existing ones to improve the performance of machine learning models Implementing models into production systems and continuously monitoring their performance Troubleshoots complex problems and provides customer support as needed Develop complex data flows or significantly enhance existing pipelines Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity Research emerging technologies to determine impact on application execution Provide input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work/military experience 10+ years of related software engineering experience Required Qualifications

Experience with Python and NodeJS Hands-on experience with technologies such as Nifi, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SageMaker Familiar with audio processing technologies (e.g., Librosa, PyAudio Analysis, or OpenSmile) Familiar with text processing technologies (e.g., NGTK, SpaCy, or Stanford CoreNLP) Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Desired Qualifications

Ability to communicate complex data clearly and accessibly Ability to visualize data effectively for project goals Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with machine learning and AI Familiarity with data management tools Ability to work independently and with diverse teams Excellent attention to detail Company Information

The likely salary range for this position is $187,000 - $253,000. Salary will be set based on experience, location, and contractual requirements. Job Details
