Six (6) months direct patient care related experience.* Current certification or competency in EKG acquisition.* PCT certified within three (3) months of hire (training provided).* Must complete the dysrhythmia course within a 90-day evaluation period and maintain competency as a telemetry technician.* Must have excellent communication skills, ability to follow oral instructions, basic computer skills, strong work ethic, and accountability.* Must be able to lift 100 pounds* Certified as a nursing assistant or military corpsman.* Current BLS.* Certification in the EKG or Dysrhythmia course.* Microsoft Office experience* EPIC EMR* Kronos* Performs EKG on time;* Cleans EKG equipment after each patient use, maintains a clear electrocardiogram signal, and problem-solves interferences in the pattern.* Assign an overreader in MUSE.* Enters all patient information in Epic, EKG machine, and MUSE* Other duties as assigned.At the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), we are looking for health care and non-health care professionals who believe in excellence as a way of life.
