Analyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared. Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Experience
Ten (10) years of practical hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of multi-security enclave large IP data networks, digital computers, microprocessors, cloud computing environments, and distributed data systems. Demonstrated experience in network routing, switching, and security over RF solutions; applying and validating network security, QoS, and VOIP for current and future shipboard networking systems. Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues, repair hardware, and perform daily tasks such as status reports, asset tracking, and trouble-ticketing. Experience updating system baselines to include software and security, including operating systems, networking and storage templates, server design, storage allocation, virtualization, tracking results, providing feedback, and completion reports. Ability to organize and lead teams to stage, image, and deploy laptops and desktops, as well as migrating data. Experience developing network automation solutions and working with new network technologies including voice, automation, and other network technologies. Ten (10) years of combined experience in the management, administration, maintenance, and repair of UNIX/LINUX and Windows-based computer networks, including: ISNS, CANES, ADNS, CENTRIXS, and/or SCI Navy systems (or equivalent type network) Windows-based network management and administration Cisco routing and switching, and server and router configuration and management UNIX/LINUX-based processing systems management Application of system and network security using standardized tools and techniques Other networking tools, software, and appliances Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Technology, or 10 years of relevant field experience. DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification. Required Certifications: CISSP CCNP or equivalent professional networking certification Operating System certifications: Config Windows 10 (70-697) Config Windows Server 2012 (70-410) Admin Windows Server 2012 (70-411) Linux/Unix or equivalent Database Management Equality: Predicate Logic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
