Overview

Risk Management - External Reporting Controller Associate at JPMorgan Chase. The role supports the firm’s wholesale credit risk data, narratives, and external disclosures for key stakeholders including the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Risk Management, Risk Technology, Finance and P&A, Investor Relations, and SEC Reporting. Job Responsibilities

Identify key risks and trends impacting the wholesale credit portfolio across the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), Asset & Wealth Management, and risk-rated businesses within Consumer and Community Banking. Produce a quarterly credit risk update for the Firm’s Chief Financial Officer to prepare for quarterly Earnings Presentations. Support the Chief Risk Officer and senior Risk Executives on monthly and quarterly presentations to the Board and risk committees; participate in ad-hoc special projects. Drive credit quality metrics forecasting and budgeting within the CIB Risk organization, including senior management presentations and communicating results to CIB and Firmwide FP&A teams. Own a weekly CIB charge-off report, track updates, and partner with the Special Credits Group (SCG) to ensure accuracy and transparency. Produce data metrics for external disclosures, including Earnings Press Release and the CEO’s Annual Letter. Design and build intelligent solutions (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau) to support analytics. Develop subject matter expertise in key portfolios such as Commercial & Industrial and Commercial Real Estate. Engage with senior management across Risk and Finance on internal and external reporting agendas, including data quality initiatives. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Bachelor’s degree Comfortable working with large datasets and producing executive-level content Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality of deliverables Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to reprioritize on the fly Collaborative, strong partnerships; excellent interpersonal skills for working within a team and cross-department communication High initiative and self-direction; creative problem solver with an analytical and control mindset Interest in news headlines, financial markets, and macroeconomic trends and their impact on the firm About Us
