Loan Officer Guild Mortgage Company, closing loans and opening doors since 1960. As a mortgage banking firm, we are dedicated to serving the homeowner/buyer. The Loan Officer plays an important role in the organization by performing activities directly related to the company's production functions. The role is primarily responsible, under moderate supervision, for providing quality relations with borrowers through completing the origination process, including application, loan disclosure, file review for underwriting standards, and ensuring submission completeness. Contacts borrowers to collect documentation and acts as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters, and customers. Essential Functions:

Obtain an accurate and thorough 1003 application. Collect supporting documentation from borrower such as: 30-day paystubs 2 years of tax returns Last 2 years of W2s Award letters, disability, trust income, etc. LOE for gaps in employment Provide needs list and complete application at initial contact with borrower. Collect 2 months of bank statements. Obtain executed disclosures within regulatory time frames. Secure accurate AUS findings. Analyze credit reports and financial scenarios to determine appropriate loan products. Determine a profitable loan price and communicate fees to the operations team. Submit a complete loan package to processing. Note: Processing will not proceed without a complete loan file, including a complete application, signed disclosures, and at least 80% of documentation required for underwriting approval. Lock in rate. Review Closing Disclosure to ensure fees and cash at closing are consistent with the commitment. Issue lender credits if needed. Work with processor and branch manager to request subsidies if the loan is out of balance. Resolve file issues and bottlenecks throughout production and underwriting. Support administrative tasks related to loan submission and documentation collection. Coordinate and distribute marketing materials. Manage client and referral partner databases. Answer customer inquiries regarding rates, products, and application status to ensure excellent customer service. Perform other duties as assigned by Guild Mortgage Company or the Managing Loan Officer. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field. Active NMLS License. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Sense of urgency and responsiveness. Passion for delivering excellent customer service. Patience and professionalism in interactions with internal and external customers. Proficiency with data entry, PDF software, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Supervision:

Intermittent to low supervision depending on experience. Apply sound judgment in job responsibilities. Travel: 0%. Requirements:

Work is primarily sedentary in an office environment. Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse. Ability to interpret sounds and visual information accurately. No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
