Warehouse Management Functional Consultant
with expertise in Manhattan Associates or Blue Yonder WMS to lead client-facing design and implementation efforts as a part of our Warehouse Operations & Automation practice. This role bridges the gap between warehouse operations and system functionality—guiding clients through complex WMS deployments that drive performance in retail, ecommerce, and wholesale environments. You’ll serve as the subject matter expert on WMS configuration and process enablement, supporting solution design, documentation, functional testing, and operational readiness. Required qualifications
Here’s what you need to bring to the table: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role. 3+ years of experience in consulting or industry roles focused on WMS Direct warehouse operations experience, including business-side implementation support Functional Super User-level proficiency in one or more Tier 1 WMS platforms: Preferred:
Manhattan Associates (WMOS, WMi, SCALE, Labor Management) Proven ability to translate business requirements into system functionality Experience troubleshooting and resolving WMS implementation issues Ability to work on-site and independently lead smaller to moderately complex WMS deployments Experience that's a plus
You’ll stand out if you also bring experience with: Experience working with
WMS integrations , including ERP and 3PL systems Familiarity with
labor management
functionality within Manhattan or Blue Yonder ecosystems Participation in
functional testing
and validation phases during implementations Experience writing or validating
functional and basic technical design documents Exposure to configuration, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare What you'll actually do
Act as the functional SME for
Manhattan or Blue Yonder WMS
implementations Participate in design workshops and requirements gathering sessions Translate operational requirements into
functional specifications
and solution configurations Review and validate
integration mapping
and interface test results Author or support functional documentation, including use cases and acceptance criteria Lead or support
functional testing phases , including system, UAT, and regression testing Collaborate with technical teams to validate technical designs and enhancements Troubleshoot implementation issues and escalate risks where necessary Support go-live planning, user training, and hypercare activities Contribute to practice development through
white papers, proposals, and knowledge-sharing Foster a collaborative team environment and support junior consultants when applicable Additional info
Pay Range: $70,000-230,000USD + Bonus The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Spinnaker SCA. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
