Loss Control Consultant – Business Insurance at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA). Services are delivered through written program reviews, jobsite audits, research, and training, with travel to serve clients in the St. Louis metropolitan area. What you’ll do
Provide risk management, loss prevention, and safety-related services to identify and remediate hazards for clients, focusing on employee safety Conduct written program reviews, jobsite audits, and client research Deliver training on client and industry-specific safety topics Serve a client base across various industries in the St. Louis metro area; occasional overnight travel required Represent the Department and MMA services to prospective clients in conjunction with producers What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in safety management or a related discipline 5–10 years of insurance loss control, insurance property and/or safety management experience with construction, manufacturing, and related industries Knowledge of OSHA regulations for construction and general industry, loss control best practices, and workers’ compensation programs Nice-to-have qualifications
Master’s degree in safety management or related discipline Certified Safety Professional or ability to acquire within first 2 years of employment (employer-paid certification) Experience in Property Insurance and Risk Engineering Knowledge of loss control strategies related to vehicle operations, fire prevention, general liability, etc. Knowledge of DOT, NFPA, ANSI and Industrial Hygiene Practices Property & Casualty Insurance Producers License (will be required post-hire – employer-paid) Benefits
